Basic information about the trail

The trail leads through open countryside between fields and vineyards. This offers nice views in several places. An interesting feature of the route is Žeravice, where J. A. Komenský was ordained a priest.

Difficulty: medium

Altitude: ascent 258 m, descent 186 m

Surface: paved roads, forest and dirty roads.

Critical points: There are dirt roads with heavy soil on the border of the cadastres of Vracov and Žeravice. It can be very muddy after rain.

Our tip:

Arrange a tour of the J. A. Comenius Memorial in Žeravice in advance. You will learn, among other things, about the network of underground passages built in the village by Czech brothers.
