Terchov's Bethlehem is one of the most popular attractions of this municipality in northwestern Slovakia. Its creation is mainly associated with the local carver Štefan Hanuliak and it is not a "message of ancient times". The Bethlehem is located on the right side of the entrance of the local parish church of Saints Cyril and Methodius and can be visited free of charge every day in summer.

The way of the cross is made of glass and stone, quarried more than a hundred years ago in Terchová. The stone originally served as a pillar on the bridge between Žilina and Budatín and after a hundred years it was returned to Terchová. Akad. sculptor Milan Opalka, a native of Terchova, is the author of the Way of the Cross in Terchova.

In Terchova, on a small hill above the municipality in the direction of the Vrátna valley, the Terchovians built a monumental memorial to their famous native. The statue of Juraj Jánošík is made of stainless steel plate in larger-than-life size and measures 7 and a half metres.

The 30-metre lookout tower Heart of Terchova is built on the Oblaz hill and is located at the end of the nature trail, which focuses on the fauna and flora of the Malá Fatra National Park. There are 3 terraces on the lookout tower, from which we can admire the views of the village of Terchová and the surrounding peaks of Mala Fatra.

Terchová is the largest tourist resort of the Little Fatra Mountains. This is due to the location of the village itself, from which it is only a short walk to the beautiful Vrátna Valley. Thanks to its location, Terchová and the Vrátna valley are an excellent starting point for a number of mountain hikes. The most popular of them is certainly the passage through the Jánošík holes.
