This spot is now called Kaneo and is considered the most beautiful location in the town. The church is named after John of Patmos, who is believed by some to be the same person as John the Apostle and the writer of Revelation. Although the exact date of construction is unknown, documents related to the church property suggest that it was built before 1447. The central apse features a portrait of St. Clement, which is part of a series of belt-length depictions of bishops. 

The Ohrid fortress, a symbol of the city, is an essential part of its urban appearance and history. It is one of the largest medieval fortresses in Macedonia, covering the entire Ohrid hill, which stands at 100 meters above the lake level. The fortress is protected by high walls and defensive towers that stretch for approximately three kilometers, except for the southern part facing the lake.

The Antique Theater can be found at the base of the eastern slope of the high Ohrid hill, just below Samuel’s Fortress. It is situated near one of the main entrances to the fortified city, known as the Upper Gate. From this entrance, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view of the lake and the surrounding mountains, which is truly unforgettable. It was designed for the purpose of hosting performances, such as plays, music, and poetry, for those who enjoyed theatre and the arts.

The Holy Mother of God Peribleptos is a church located in the historic town of Ohrid in southwestern Macedonia. It was built in 1295 and is considered one of the oldest churches in the area. The church has a domed cross-in-square design and was commissioned by Progonos Sgouros, a Byzantine governor who was married to the daughter of emperor Andronikos II Palaeologos. 

Gorna Porta is a well-preserved city entrance and archaeological site, representing a necropolis from the Macedonian-Hellenistic period (3rd-2nd century BC). In a research conducted in 2016, a total of 85 graves were discovered. Out of these, 12 graves were found to belong to the Macedonian-Hellenistic period, which is believed to be around the 3rd-2nd century BC.
