Cyril and Methodius Route – Cultural Route of the Council of Europe

Bojkovice - Maršov

Basic information about the trail

The trail passes by the interesting Marian Column and passes the church. St. Lawrence. Then it rises above the town, and you can enjoy the view of Bojkovice, the ridge of the White Carpathians and the neo-Gothic castle Nový Světlov at the Vranovy žleby lookout point. The signposted trail then leads through slightly undulating terrain. You will cross a stream with the poetic name Třešňůvka and after a short climb through the forest you will find yourself in meadows and orchards above the village of Přečkovice. The trail then leads to the spa town of Luhačovice and from there through forests and meadows to Maršov.

Our tip:

It is also possible to choose a shorter, unmarked option from Luhačovice to Polichno, around the railway tracks, where there is a local asphalt road, which is followed by a cycle path to Biskupice.
