Brewery Tvarg

The brewery builds on the history of cheese curds and beer production in Velká Bystřice, where Olomoucké tvarůžky was commonly produced in the past. This is good news for all lovers of Olomouc cheese curds - they are now (2021) also produced in Velké Bystřice under the time-tested and well-worn name Tvargle. Olomouc cheese curds are of course made according to original recipes and from local ingredients. The Tvarg microbrewery produces not only classic lager, but also top-fermented beers such as IPA and ALE. The brewery and cheese factory with restaurant and summer seating can be found in the restored, listed brewery cellars in the vicinity of Bystřice Castle. Both establishments can also be visited during regularly organized excursions with tasting.
